Joe Buntyn

AIA/PDH Instructor ICC Certified Structural Steel Design AIA/PDH Instructor New Millennium Building Systems Joe Buntyn has over 43 years’ experience in structural steel fabrication, steel erection and structural steel drafting and project management. He is ICC certified as a structural steel and bolted inspector. Joe is expert in the design application of steel joist and deck systems, and has conducted educational presentations on this subject with the AISC, to the Department of the Navy, the National Parking Association (NPA), and to structural engineering firms across the U.S.

Sean Smith

AIA/PDH Instructor M. Arch; Leed AP Architectural Steel Design New Millennium Building Systems Sean Smith has 12 years of experience in architectural design, encompassing healthcare, K-12 schools, higher education, civic, and commercial buildings. Sean has a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Studies and a Master of Architecture degree, and is LEED AP certified. Sean educates and consults with architects about the uses of specialty and acoustical steel deck and building systems, aiding in the development of design solutions based on the most optimal steel building system solution.

Betty Corkwell, PE

AIA/PDH Instructor Design Engineer New Millennium Building Systems Betty Corkwell has over 45 years experience in the design and engineering of structural steel building systems, including steel joists and deck. Betty is a design engineer by training with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Clemson University. Betty assists New Millennium’s on-site course instruction to address the more complex engineering questions asked by attendees.
